Complete Response: disappearance of all arterially enhancing (viable) tumor tissue, i.e. loss of any intratumoral arterial-phase hyperenhancement across all target and non-target HCC lesions.
Partial Response: at least a 30% reduction in the sum of the diameters of the viable (arterially enhancing) portions of target lesions, referenced to the baseline sum.
Stable Disease: viable enhancing tumor that shrinks too little to qualify as partial response and grows too little to qualify as progressive disease.
Progressive Disease: at least a 20% increase in the sum of the diameters of viable (arterially enhancing) target lesions, or the appearance of one or more new lesions, or unequivocal progression of non-target disease.
